The inaugural National Indigenous Fire Gathering was held on September 23-25, 2025.
Hosted in partnership with, and on the traditional territory of the SnPink’tn (Penticton Indian Band), the gathering took place at the beautiful Penticton Lakeside Resort and Conference Centre, in Penticton, British Columbia.
Over 150 Indigenous fire practitioners came together for three days of celebration and sharing. We opened in ceremony, spent a day on the land with members of the Penticton Indian Band, heard from international leaders in Indigenous fire practices, participated in pathfinding sessions to dig deeper into topics, and had lots of opportunities for conversation, laughter, exchange, and learning together.
The next gathering will be held in Fall 2027.
