Land-Based Learning

To be stewards of the land through Indigenous leadership, kinship, partnership, and collaboration by:

• Having Indigenous Peoples on the ground practicing Indigenous knowledge, includes returning fire to the land, recognizing its importance, and addressing the challenges in making this possible.
• Creating an understanding of the importance and relevance of Indigenous Knowledge to Youth, and reconciling Indigenous (re)connections to the land through Indigenous-led fire practices and cultural revitalization.
